The WSSoBC feels the creation of a National Park Reserve in the South Okanagan is not in the best interest of the Wild Sheep in that area.

Wild Sheep Society Projects
The Wild Sheep Society of British Columbia has funded dozens of projects throughout British Columbia since its inception.
The following projects are ongoing or have been funded during the past year:
- Seton Lake/Chasm Count
- Halverson Ranch Sheep Buyout
- Project "coming home"
- Spatsizi/Hyland Post Burn Project
- Sub Lot 18
- Spences Bridge Sheep Count
- Habitat Enhancement Burn at Big Bar
- Wild/Domestic Sheep and Goat Separation Project
- Okanagan Mountain Park Sheep Transplant
