The WSSoBC feels the creation of a National Park Reserve in the South Okanagan is not in the best interest of the Wild Sheep in that area.

Hi New here and first wanted to say hi.
A bit about me, I grew up in Clinton in the 70's and 80's , but have lived in maple Ridge ever since.most of the hunting I have done is for moose and deer.I love it but am maybe looking for something more.
I only now realize what a rich history the Clinton area had for sheep hunting.I have seen alot of the famous local heads on the walls of my friends living room walls as a kid, being in the homes of such people as the Parks, Robertsons, a.j "smitty" smith ect.
I guess i am looking for some pointers on getting started in sheep hunting. I was considering throwing my name in the hat for the 3-31 or 3-32 draws and see what happens.
I would love to get the buck of a lifetime as well and know these are not bad areas to look for one of those at the same time.
I did alot of hiking in the limestones as well as the benches along the fraser as a teenager so I have an idea of where to start looking.Any pointers would be appreciated. I am willing to do pre season scouting trips as well.I think one of the stumbling blocks is not knowing anyone else who also wants to do this.Cheers
Rod
Hey rod, I grew up in 100 mile, also have hunted them areas you mentioned around clinton for past 20 years. My buddy got a nice ram and a huge buck on the fraser on the same day this year.(the pics are in this gallery) I will be poking around out there alot more next year, maybe we can do a hunt, this year!
Welcome aboard, I am sure
