The WSSoBC feels the creation of a National Park Reserve in the South Okanagan is not in the best interest of the Wild Sheep in that area.

Hi,
My name is Rod, I have been a hunter for 20+ years but have not had the opportunity to go after sheep. This will be changing this year and I hope to learn from the experienced sheep hunters here in getting past the initial learning curve.
The changes to the site are looking good and I think the horn curl test is a fantastic education tool. It has already taught me that I need to work on my ability to judge a legal ram.
Hey there my name is Kevin and I really enjoy being in the hills in the Fall. I have a fish/wildlife biology degree so although I hunt them I fully appreciate the importance of "Wild Sheep Forever". I met some of the members of the Board and would really like to become actively involved in the society. Anyways, this is a cool new site.
Kev.
Andrew, 21, live in Kelowna. Just wrapping up a BBA in management, then a bit more time for hunting in the fall. This'll be my first year to sheep hunting, plan on getting out for a stone. Have started compiling info and maps on some Rocky and Cali areas in region 4 and 3 respectively.
And yeah, great new site!
Rod, Thanks for posting up -
Rod,
Thanks for posting up - you will go down as the first member to post a thread on the sheep hunting forum!
I've been a hunter for 20+ years as well, and a sheep hunter since '93, when I went on my first Stone's sheep hunt. I've been on a few hunts since then, taking two Stone's and one Dall's sheep. I was also there when my dad got his first ram at the age of 59. What a thrill that was.
I hope to hear from lots of fellow sheep hunters, and I hope everyone enjoys the site.
Alan
