The WSSoBC feels the creation of a National Park Reserve in the South Okanagan is not in the best interest of the Wild Sheep in that area.

Welcome to the new WSSOBC website! I hope you like the new site, and the many features we have added. Feel free to post any comments (positive or negative) or suggested changes to the site under this forum topic. We have only just taken the redesigned site public and are still tweaking it, so your feedback is much appreciated. Enjoy the site!

Site looks awesome! Loved the curl test. Congrats!

I just signed on here, and also bucked up for a lifetime membership to the WSS. This site is cool, how about a photo gallery???
Mark,
A photo gallery is a great idea. We will see if we can get something set up.
Thanks for the comments.
Alan
i would be very cool if you limit the gallery to ONLY sheep pics! There are loads of hunting sites with pics of everything. It would be nice to see a gallery of nothing but sheep pics, and this would be the place to have it! just a thought!
Hey all!
Site looks great Allen! Way to turn a negative into a positive!
I've got some good pics of the last phase of the OK Mtn Park transplant if anyone is interested.
Also, I was wondering if we could get a copy Bob Butcher's "Lack of Diligence" article from the fall issue of the magazine kept on this site? I thought it was very informative. The more people that read it the better.
Cheers
SSS
I'm glad to see this new site, and am very pleased with how quick the reply was to my e-mail. I am a new member and I am impressed with how the society is active in the field. I hope to put faces to names at projects and the banquet.
A photo gallery for sheep would be great, and in cases of harvested animals, pics from the side and head on with the age and score included would help others learn to count annuli and field judge.
Thanks for your comments guys.
SSS, the Lack of Diligence article is on the site. You can find it by going to the Horn Curl Education Program, and then clicking on the link ("Lack of Dilgence") found on that page. I'd love to see your photos of the sheep transplant, and to add them to the site if that's ok. I'll send you an e-mail about that.
brno375, I like the idea of our photos just focusing on sheep. That's really the niche we want to occupy, since there are many other places to post general hunting photos, as you noted.
Alan
New site
Looks great so far, enjoyed the quizz and it confirmed that I need more education.
